Sweet Potato ‘Bread’

Another recipe from my student days. Delicious spread with avocado or margarine, or eaten by itself! The thinner the mixture is spread, the more crisp the ‘bread’ becomes.


  • 100g cauliflower, grated
  • 1 medium sized sweet potato, mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon psyliium husk


  1. Preheat the oven to 200*C. Line a brownie tin with baking paper.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until well combined, and bake in a brownie tin for 20 minutes.
