I am a huge breakfast board fan. I love the idea of a variety of tasty morsels served on a large chopping board for maximum hipster cred (and also, more room to play with your food).

Ideal for breakfast in bed or just for wonderful Instagram pictures!

Lean and Green Board – Women's Health Magazine Feature

I was so fortunate that this particular board was featured by Women's Health Magazine on their Instagram page, winning me a new Breville blender and about 10kg worth of Simply Wise gluten free products!

  • Avo toast – organic rye bread with smashed avocado, pomegranate seeds and watercress
  • Pesto eggs – two free range eggs scrambled with homemade broccoli macadamia pesto (pesto made by blending 1/2 head of roasted broccoli, handful of spinach leaves, 1 tablespoon macadamia oil and a handful of rocket leaves)
  • Parsnip chips – parsnips sliced with a mandolin slicer, roasted with lemon myrtle and thyme

Green and Gold Goodness

  • Green smoothie
  • Smashed avocado
  • Haloumi, semidried tomato, roast pumpkin, spinach salad
  • Mini green quiches

Ultimate Breakfast Board 

  • Kale pesto scrambled with eggs and peas
